Tour in Argolis
An excellent excursion with many great antiquities situated in the county of Argolis, that is approximately 100 km SW of Athens. If you are visiting Greece or Athens and have a day to spend, there is no better choice than letting us take you a trip to Ancient Korinthos, then to Mycenae and Nafplio and finally to ancient Epidaurus, all places found in Argolis.
We will start with a short stop at the Corinthian Canal to enjoy the magnificent view and then we will visit the Ancient Town of Korinthos, see the Temple of Apollo and the Roman Agora.
Our next stop will be at Mycenae, where you will have the chance to learn about the civilization of this ancient town and again admire the Tomb of Agamemnon, the Cyclopean Walls, the Lions Gate among others.
We will continue our journey with our visit to the cosmopolitan town of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece.
The Venetian Castle Palamidi, the Castle Akronafplia, the island Mpourtzi, the war museum and archaeological museum, are all places you will enjoy seeing and learning more about.
Our final stop will be at Epidaurus. You will see the worldly famous ancient theatre of Epidaurus and have the opportunity to listen yourself to the perfect acoustic of the theatre.
There is also the Sanctuary of Asclepius and the archaeological museum.
This is an ideal excursion if you have a few hours break and you want to see and learn more of our country and history.
